Some Bling For Cheap

Yeah, cheap !  One of my favorite words !
Oui, pas cher !  Deux de mes mots préférés !

Today's post is something I have made a long time ago but never posted.  As I am cleaning my room, I came up with this set of bracelet and headband:

Can you guess what they are made of ?  Here is a hint: it is very lightweight...
Pouvez-vous deviner de quoi ils sont faits ?  Voici un indice: ils sont très légers...

I used this tutorial.  Yes !  It is the infamous "Starburst Wrapper Bracelet", but with a twist:  Chips bags INSIDE OUT !  Yep !  I had my friends collect chip bags (because I DO NOT eat chips - yeah right...) and made these dittys out of them.  They are lightweight and VERY shiny !  I really like them.
J'ai utilisé ce tuto.  Oui !

To make the bracelet, you make 3 rings and you weave them to each other.  To make the headband, one strip will do and you sew an elastic to each end.  And voilà !

A nice lightweight shiny bracelet !
Un joli bracelet léger et brillant !

Cool thing about it too: it holds the hair well because of the little "v" patterns.

Ah !  No more hair in the face !
Enfin plus de cheveux dans la figure !

You can even wear it 60's style !
On peut même le porter style sixties !
Sorry about the pictures...   I don't have a picture taking area YET !

I also made some bracelets with ordinary publicity flyers:

Thanks for stopping by !
Merci d'être passé !
